You do not need to know which program you need before you call. We start by listening, understanding what has been happening, and helping you find the level of support that fits your symptoms, goals, and daily life.
Altium Health provides personalized outpatient mental health and substance use treatment in West Jordan, Utah, including individual therapy, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), and coordinated ambulatory detox when clinically appropriate.
The right level of care can help you
move forward.
THERAPY PROGRAMS
You do not need to arrive with the name of a program—or even the perfect words for what you have been experiencing. Begin by telling us what has changed, what feels difficult, and what you hope life could look like.
Through a comprehensive assessment, our clinical team will take the time to understand your symptoms, history, daily life, strengths, and goals. We will use that information to develop a personalized treatment plan and recommend the level of care that offers the right amount of structure and support.
That may include individual therapy, an intensive outpatient program (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), or a combination of services. As your needs change, your plan can change with you.
Bring us what’s happening.
We’ll help turn it into a plan.
A THOUGHTFUL PLACE TO BEGIN
CARE DESIGNED AROUND WHAT YOU NEED
The right level of care depends on more than a diagnosis. Your symptoms, safety, daily responsibilities, support system, and treatment goals all help determine where care should begin.
You do not need to choose a program before contacting Altium Health. Our team will complete a comprehensive assessment, talk through your options, and recommend the level of support that best fits your needs and your life.
Different levels of support.
One personalized plan.
-
Personalized care centered on your goals.
Individual therapy gives you dedicated time with a licensed therapist to understand what you have been experiencing and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
Sessions are shaped around your needs rather than a standard curriculum. Your therapist may help you explore patterns, process difficult experiences, strengthen relationships, develop practical coping skills, and make changes that feel sustainable outside of therapy.
Individual therapy may be appropriate for people experiencing:
Depression, anxiety, or persistent stress
Trauma and post-traumatic stress
Grief, relationship concerns, or major life transitions
Mood or emotional regulation challenges
Substance use or concerns about unhealthy patterns
A need for continued support after completing a more structured program
Treatment may incorporate approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy skills, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and other evidence-based methods selected for your individual needs.
Individual therapy may be used on its own or combined with medication management, group therapy, TMS, an intensive outpatient program, or another service when additional support would be helpful.
-
Structured support that still leaves room for everyday life.
An intensive outpatient program, or IOP, provides more support than traditional weekly therapy without requiring an overnight stay. Participants attend several group sessions each week while continuing to live at home and, when possible, maintain work, school, and family responsibilities.
IOP combines consistent structure with practical, real-world application. Programming may include therapeutic process groups, skills development, psychoeducation, relapse prevention, emotional regulation, mindfulness, and individualized treatment planning.
Depending on your needs, care may also include individual therapy, family involvement, medication management, case coordination, or other Altium Health services.
Mental Health IOP
Designed for adults who need additional support for depression, anxiety, trauma, mood instability, emotional regulation, relationship difficulties, or other mental health concerns.
The program helps participants better understand their symptoms, practice healthier coping strategies, build stability, and create routines that support continued progress.
Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
5:00–8:00 PMSubstance Use Disorder IOP
Designed for adults seeking structured support for substance use, recovery, or patterns that have become difficult to change independently.
Treatment focuses on understanding triggers, strengthening recovery skills, preventing relapse, improving emotional regulation, rebuilding relationships, and developing a realistic plan for long-term wellness.
Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
5:30–8:30 PMDaytime Dual Diagnosis IOP
Designed for adults experiencing both mental health and substance use concerns. Because these challenges often affect one another, the program addresses them together within one coordinated treatment plan.
Participants receive support for symptom management, recovery, emotional regulation, relapse prevention, daily structure, and the underlying experiences that may contribute to both conditions.
Schedule:
Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
1:00–4:00 PM -
Our most structured level of outpatient care.
The Partial Hospitalization Program, or PHP, offers comprehensive daytime treatment for individuals who need more support and structure than an IOP or weekly therapy can provide but do not require overnight hospitalization.
Participants attend programming throughout the day and return home each evening. This creates an opportunity to receive consistent clinical support while continuing to practice new skills in everyday life.
PHP may include:
Therapeutic process groups
Cognitive and behavioral skill development
Emotional regulation and distress-tolerance skills
Trauma-informed treatment
Mental health and recovery education
Relapse-prevention planning
Individualized treatment planning
Medication evaluation and management when appropriate
Coordination among medical and behavioral health providers
Discharge and continuing-care planning
Program Schedule
Monday through Friday
10:00 AM–4:00 PMLunch is provided each day, allowing participants to remain focused on treatment and connected with the program throughout the full day.
For some individuals with substance use concerns, our medical team may recommend coordinated ambulatory detox before or alongside PHP. This recommendation is made only after a clinical and medical assessment and may be combined with individual therapy, medication support, and continued recovery planning.
As symptoms stabilize and greater independence becomes appropriate, the treatment team may recommend transitioning from PHP into an IOP or individual outpatient care.
